Early Chamberlain's Worcester Partial Dinner Service, c. 1790, English 'soft-paste' porcelain.
A total of 22 pieces including 14 dinner plates, 3 shell-shaped shrimp dishes (one restored), two large oblong serving bowls, one footed compote, and one covered sauce tureen with underdish. Pattern number 66 would have been produced in the first year or two of the factory production. These are fine examples of early english porcelain making in Worcester. |
