Chinese Export Teapot with Drape and Shield Monogram, c.1800
Pseudo-armorial Chinese export porcelain teapot likely made for the American market with entwined strap handle and polychrome enamels with gilding. The monogram is “MB.” Excellent overall condition with some wear to the gilding mostly on the handle and spout. There are some firing imperfections, but no repairs or cracks. |
