Pair of Orb Form Cloisonné Ginger Jars, Chinese, Early 20th century. This lovely pair is decorated in the very traditional blue ground cloisonné enamel, which has been popular since the Ming dynasty. The finely executed lotus flower and scroll motif is heavily inspired by much earlier cloisonné designs. The intricate pattern is offset by delicate scale borders on the lid and base. This is a very fine example of cloisonné enamel decoration. The pair is in excellent condition. 6 ½" height (without stands). Close
